My boyfriend and i are going camping with his family tonight. They’ve already been up there for a week, and we’re just visitting for 2 nights. What should I bring? They have an RV so do i need the basic things like sleeping bag/ pillow ect, or just personal things?
I have camped all my life but they have always been in driving distance so I pack up the car and off I go. I am flying from Boston to CA for a 4 day camping trip and am unsure about packing for a plane ride. The backpack I plan on bringing is peobably too big for carry on, but I don’t trust it checked. What do you suggest? Carry on my sleeping bag and pillow and check the pack? Maybe?
We live in Los Angeles and our baby is due on the end of July. It will be hot then. Should I put him in a sleeping bag or blanket? Any advice? Thank you .
I don’t have a sleeping pad for a winter camp but I have two simple summer sleeping bags and I’m thinking of simply sandwiching in a sheet of Mylar to ceate some insulation from the ground. Do you think this would work well?

Do you think this would work well? I should add that I will also be using another military bag on top of this and I will be in a tent. This is just for a sleeping pad for my son and I.
I need to buy a compact, lightweight tent for a cycling holiday in France. Can anyone recommend something relatively cheap (under £75) and a decent sleeping bag? Thanks
Im going on a weekend backpacking trip and I need a sleeping bag. I want something "compressible" so it doesn’t take much space. I only camp in the spring, summer, and fall, mainly in the northwest (Illinois, Wisconsin, and Michigan). I think a 30* bag should be ok but i don’t want to spend more than 0 as i am not an avid camper, just occasional. thanks!
