Do you just use it outside of your normal sleeping bag?
I’m looking at a surplus one to use for camping and backpacking.
Also, how comfortable are these, in your experience?
Also, does one need to dig a small hole to lie it in so it’s not possible to roll around?
I guess what I’m wondering is if it’s possible to roll around and move the whole bag with you while you sleep. Kind of a dumb thought, but I had to think it.

I have an extra large mummy style sleeping bag and the stuff sack it came with is just big enough and I wouldn’t mind one a bit bigger but not huge. Everywhere I look the stuff sacks are sized in liters and only a few give inches but not the ones I want. How many liters is the bag I need? How do I measure it?
My best friend is going camping for her birthday and she is inviting me and another girl, we wanna pull some funny pranks on her but she isn’t very gulluble. =p We already are going to put a fake snake in her sleeping bag. HELP PLEASE!!

if you go camping, and u realize you havnt even brought a sleeping bag, and its too late to turn back, and all you have is a ratehr large, thick trash bag… would u just use that instead?
