Im going camping this summer and I;ve been looking for good prices on tents and sleeping bags. So far, EBay and the Dicks Sporting Goods web site have the cheapest tents i’ve seen. Whats some other good sites to find New Camping stuff at. I’ve already looked at Amazon and Overstock
I was reading up on the pros and cons of different types of sleeping bags for a long backpacking trips. It seems that both down and synthetic bags have deal-breaking cons. I plan on having a tent to shield me from the wind, and I would dress in layers I guess. Is a sleeping bag absolutely necessary?

TIME what makes us tick? is it our inner clock, or are we part of a gigantic clockwork regulating our daily moves? Observed on a human scale, the very basic rhythm of every day is sunset and sunrise, we go in to bed and out of bed. A rhythm, so elementary and universal and at the same time so intimate. This is an impression of Sync’ by Max Hattler and ‘Bedrooms’ bij Nelleke Koop with music by Dennis van Tilburg. These were part of the ‘Time, what makes us tick?’ installation in the Open Mind series of Pavlov E-Lab, presented on the Noorderzon Performing Arts festival 2010. In this edition Max and Nelleke collaborated with chronobiologist Martha Merrow and physicist Eric Bergshoeff in their mutual exploration of the theme of Time.
This weekend i am camping out on friday night for a cross country meet on saturday. i already have a small tent and a big sleeping bag with plenty of matches and like a millon pairs of clothes to sleep and run in. what else do i really need to take besides the basic stuff
I’m planning on buying a new sleeping bag. I’m 4 ft 10 inches yea I know that’s short. A sleeping bag I’m interested in has a size for 5 ft 11 inches. The next size down would be 5ft.
I’m still a growing teen and I’m 99.9999% sure I’ll grow over 5ft. I don’t use sleeping bags a lot.
www.simplyhike.co.uk A great sleeping bags for kids, the Snugpak Laponie Square can be easily stuffed down into an ultra compact carry bag when not in use to transport or store it easily. With a smaller size for kids, it retains much more heat than using a larger sized sleeping bag.
www.simplyhike.co.uk Ideal for backpacking use due to its small size and lightweight materials. With the ability to be used in conditions down to below zero degrees, the sleeping bag even has room for a mosquito net.
