(Glasgow became the City of Culture in 1990. That’s approaching two decades since it was given such a title which is only given for one year.)

Camping tips/tricks/survival hints?

I’m an outdoorsy person, but I’m going on a field biology trip next month and we’ll be camping for two weeks in southern Texas. I have all my necessities (sleeping bag, inflatable pad, rain gear, wicking garments, hiking boots, etc) but I’m scared that I’ll be missing the comforts of home after the first day!
ANY camping tips are greatly appreciated, I need some advice for getting through this trip without going bonkers :)

*I’m going for a college class at the end of December with 7 classmates and our professor. We have to follow his itinerary so we won’t be able to fish or spend much time at the camp sites aside from sleeping. We drive hundreds of miles to different sites and go on hikes, canoe in the rio grande, see the Chihuahuan Desert, and visit the Alamo as well.

What type of glasses should I get?

I am 13….and im like. blind. im short sighted, and my degree was like -6.25 the last time I checked.
I’m Chinese, pale-ish skin, super dark coffee brown hair, and have a round face. i tend to get eye bags even if i sleep a lot. (but they can vary in size and colour depending on how long i sleep)
I currently have a pair of purple rimless oval-almost circle glasses. And my look has matured since last year, and I think I look crap in them now.

I’m planning to get some new ones, but personally, I don’t really like the plastic black rimmed rectangular specs everyone’s wearing nowadays. I was thinking about half-rimmed rectangular ones, as I’ve never actually gotten rectangular glasses in my life (my mom didn’t let me -.-") and I’m not too sure about what colour I should get. I’ve thought about purple, but I’ve been wearing purple and peach since i was six. I’m not a BIG fan though :P

so considering my appearance i’ve mentioned above, what type should I get? I’m really looking forward to reading your opinions! (:
thankyou~!(:

Haven’t used them on a long tour yet. They appear durable. Only complaint – no directions came with them as to installation. had to figure that out on my own and I’m still not sure I got it right.” Bikes and Scooters EXPEDITION CAM Need to carry lunch for 12 and the kitchen sink?
